The Fallen White Rose (The Story of Gaza)

As the sun rose up high into the sky
It sheds light, law of the earth it went by
Out of the silence was a piercing cry
And flew the body with a black eye

As the wind blows beneath the fallen leaves
To mark the souls leaving off bodies
The innocence of life oozing out slowly
And the blood flows onto the ground in peace

And children of the land run in a rash
Never aware of the rains that splash
Shells full in the pockets of flesh
As the beast attacks in an intermittent mesh

The White Rose stood still amidst the dust
While everything around simply went bust
The one to protect was more like a rust
The beast took it fine and followed its lust

I looked up high to see a metallic bird flies
With shells it drops all in disguise
It's time to see how many more dies
And there it felled..The White Rose lies
